new boston owner

just picked up a used 2011 AP 135i this past weekend and I love it. The thing is a rocket! it's so much fun.

I was wondering what dealers in the area everyone uses? I live in Woburn and work in Newton so I am close by to just about any of the major BMW dealers in the area and would like a recommendation on which one to make my go to dealership for services and what not.

any help would be great.

also, any meets in the area?

I highly recommend AGAINST Herb Chambers BMW on Commonwealth

I used to coordinate 1 Series meets in the area, but haven't had time to recently do so. Let's definitely work on putting something together if you're interested!

thanks for the update about Herb. I think the closest one to me is either Peabody or Sudbury, Id prob try one of those first.

nah, I have been on Cape all weekend and my 1er is white.

Highly recommend Peabody. I live further north so I'm also near Tulley in Nashua, which is where I ordered my 2013. Tulley also has a very good reputation for service.

Moving to Boston soon as well. Would like to meet up with other owners. Also, if any of you store your car during the winter, would be interested in hearing some suggestions near Boston.

Also moving up to Boston in the next month and almost about to pull the trigger on a new 1er. Definitely interested in getting in contact with some of you when I get up there. Would love to know how you guys find your 1's in the winter and if any of you run winter tires on them and how that is?

with all the traction control and what not that these cars have, adding a set of winter tires to it should make it run just fine in the winter. I personally have a 2nd car, WRX, that I use as a winter beater.

It's not bad in the winter everything get plowed quickly...I took mine up to VT a few times in january and February and took it out in the blizzard too, no issues. Maybe ground clearance during the blizzard haha but no others

im curious to see how this car is in the winter compared to my last car that felt like it was on a train track even in deep snow with snow tires on
