Nice! I may be interested in purchasing your faces if they are good
That looks really clean. I like the M style.

I did the M design as a first test just because its a simple design. It took longer than i thought to make, but i think it turned out pretty good. Because of the amount of time involved, i'm thinking a good price will probably be about $50 a set. A little more if you want custom things like logos and stuff. Is that something you guy would feel comfortable paying?
The backlight is white because I've changed the LED's to white. If you leave the stock LED's, then this will be orange like the stock colors.

That looks really good. You'll have to let me know how much it's going to be for the custom stuff.

I'm in at that price if you don't have any trouble doing them in US units. I just have to think about what design to go with. Wish I could see some more examples first.

Here is a test of the other design. I think it still needs a few tweeks. The small ticks don't let much light through. And i don't like how the light from the needle shines on the face, personally i'm going with a much darker face color for mine to reduce that.

The 1M style is pretty much ready to go, I'm going to start a tread next week selling them. They will be $50 and the only option will be Metric or Imperial (km or miles).

I like the 135i in there. Looks good. I could fix the needle glow by blacking out the sides and bottom of the needle with a black marker. Let me know when you want to do a one off for me and how much it will be.

Curious, why not put ticks on the M style overlays?

Can we get up close photos of the faces themselves? How thick are they? What kind of material is it printed on? Are they likely to fade?

The white LEDs are a huge upgrade, how difficult was that? I am thinking about tackling it.

Do you mean just adding the "s" after the 135i text? That's no problem.

They are printed on several layers of semitransparent plastic that are fused together. They are the same thickness as the stock overlays. I've just started making them, so i have no idea if they will fade (but i will be very surprised if they do).

As for the white LED's... I don't know if it was worth the effort and stress. Unless you have experience soldering, i would avoid it. I was pretty nervous doing it.

+1. Personally I'd like that more even though it's not the way the real 1M gauges are.

Either similar to the 335is guages "light gray with 135is text" or similar to 1m style with 135is. Maybe someone could Photoshop some.

Thanks for the honest feedback. Haven't soldered in a long time. Man that white is beautiful though!

That white is amazing. Would love to see the rest of the LEDs turned white. I think that would be my next upgrade with the AW and white trim 135 would look amazing

Is there a DIY for the overlay installs? or am I just going to have to wing it?
