Going to ORP (O’Reilly Raceway Park) this coming Tuesday, October 14th, for Street Legal Race Night. Anybody who wants to join me is welcome. This past Tuesday was cancelled due to weather. There are only three more weeks to 'Race' your car on Tuesday night. Always wanted to do this:thumbup:

OK, there's another guy with the Dinan stage 2 flash in Indy!
Picked the car up this afternoon......and promptly went back to work, so I haven't had much time at all in the car. All I know is that traction is a major issue when the roads are damp. I can't wait until we get a couple nice days here. |

Congrats on your new 1er! Yeah, it's tough not pushing the car like it "wants to be driven." I have around 6,000 miles on mine, and it is by far the most fun and quickest car that I have ever driven Be safe and enjoy your new ride:thumbup: |

Hell, I've only seen one other 1er in person up here on the North side, so 10-15 sounds about right. Hopefully more owners will post in the regional forum!

I guess it gives me something to look forward to in the spring. By that time I plan on redoing my suspension. I think I've only driven my car twice since the reflash! |

Another 135i checking in from Ft. Wayne. 2008 Black Sapphire/Boston Black. Picked it off the lot a week and a half ago. 225/40-18 and 255/35-18 Blizzak's were installed 5 days later. :roundel:

Enjoying it very much. I especially like that fact that I'm willing to drive it in virtually any weather. I owned corvettes for the last 7 years and never wanted to get them out even if there was the possibility of rain. So I spent most of my time driving an old '90 Toyota 4x4 with 2 corvettes sitting in the garage staying clean.
I promised myself I wouldn't fall into that same trap with the 1. I've made it out a couple times in the rain, and a couple snow showers, and don't feel like I have to go to therapy! Although I've already washed it twice! |
