WTB Manual 128i
Looking for a manual 128i coupe (welcome to the crowd, right?) Preferably with Xenons, no navigation. The rest can be sorted out. I love a high mileage, well maintained car, but I'm open to anything at this point. Will pay more if the mods align with what I'm going for (M128i). Willing to ship as well.

Yeah, you can just subscribe to 128i’s and will get notified when any go up on c&b (I guess bat too). Not many of these but I see them go up once every few months or so.

Finding the right color might be a pain. I have Oyster (Boston leather) which is not a common color in the E82. Not really high on my priority list at the moment but casually keeping an eye out if a set of Oyster sports seats pop up on the market.
Focusing more on all the typical maintenance and pre-emptive work for now (e.g. oil filter housing gasket, water pump, etc..). Just changed my rear diff gear oil and tranny fluid couple of days ago. Shifts are buttery smooth now. Looking to thrown on an OEM rear swaybar + endlinks next. The base 128i never came with one from the factory. Should be a night and day difference in reducing some of the understeer feeling for just a few hundred bucks. Also looking to put in a set of Bilstein B14 PSS9 down the road. The M-Sport option is great but if this isn't meant to be a collector car I'd get whatever 128i manual you can find and just add the M-bits as you go through ownership. The difference between a non M-Sport 1er and an M-Sport is more than the cost of seats. Bumpers is a another story but they're out there too. |

Yeah I’ll have to watch out for a rare interior color, although black does go with just about anything.
The m-sport bumpers are nice, but not in my plans (unless they come on the car). I’m thinking more 1M/M3 suspension arms/bushings, 3 stage intake, and maybe shocks/struts if I get there. Also maybe a “sportier” muffler. |

I have an imola red 2008 128i 6MT with halogens & sunroof. 171k miles but mechanically very well maintained with all preventative maintenance done in the last 30k miles. Clutch, water pump, oil filter housing gasket, oil pan gasket, spark plugs, AC evaporator/condenser, PCV hose recall. Has M-sport seats, koni yellow suspension, 3 stage IM with ActiveAutowerke stage 1 tune, 135i muffler, m3 control arms, aftermarket head unit with plug in carplay/AAuto, BMW Performance carbon fiber cold air intake (sounds great). Passes inspection. Has 5/32 MPS4S tires on 18" style 264 wheels. Also have Hotchkiss sway bars and 17" winter wheels for it that aren't on the car. Car isn't pretty as it started life as a city car. I'm 3rd owner but prior owners took good care of it mechanically too. Full synthetic oil changes every 5k miles. No accidents. Currently traveling but can send u pics when I get home. Fun car and good daily. Reason for selling is I bought a Cayman |

Bumping this one more time. Pretty close to making an offer if I can coordinate w the seller but if anyone else in forum land is considering selling I’m open to options. Thanks!

2008 128i
I may have the car for you. 2008 128i 6MT base model with some upgrades sport model upgrades and maintenance of many items. Was not really looking to sell but would consider as you seem to be looking to finish what I started.
Just a heads up. I'm new to the whole forum communications platform so not real nuanced. Old dog, new tricks and all...... |

Ah too late! I found a nice 2010 but I’ll basically be starting from scratch on the upgrades (other than a PE exhaust and Koni shocks). I’ve never made a build thread before but I’m tempted to this time.
Sounds like a good car though, sorry to have missed it. |
