**Active Autowerke Signature Series 135 Exhaust**
Active Autowerke is proud to release the newest addition to our Signature line of exhaust systems. There has been an overwhelming demand for this system and we bring it to you with great pride. After months of testing this system with 3” piping our engineering team decided that 3.5” piping is the most adequate size for a free flowing design. The increase in piping size decreases back pressure allowing the 135’s twin turbo to spool even faster resulting in increased horsepower and torque. The incorporation of the noise cancellation chamber on the side of the exhaust reduces/eliminates drone. This is a must for the 135 enthusiast .

What a joke... the quality looks good, but nobody should buy this exhaust for that reason. Support the people who design the parts, not companies with piss poor customer service that copy others work.
They deserve the communities thoughts on this blatant ripoff. |

Hey guys,
Thanks for the positive compliments. Our Exhaust was designed on using technology and styling influenced by our E9X M3 Exhaust. Which was released over 1 year ago. Seen here: Quite a few factory exhausts come with NCC (noise cancellation chambers) inside of the pan. After opening up a few factory exhausts we decided to find a way to implement that design into our systems. Making them internal such as stock would increase weight and would defeat the purpose of building a lighter, better performing system. With performance, sound and weight in mind. We decided to install an NCC on the outside to provide a light weight system that performs and provides great sound through out the entire power band, not just wide open. Our exhaust can not be compared to the AFE system in terms of performance or quality. AFE: Active Autowerke: If anyone has any questions feel free to post. p.s. Noise Cancellation Chambers are not new technology, they have been in the automotive industry for quite some time. We are the first company to use them on a BMW exhaust system and now have implemented them onto our second system. |

Ok, that is what I figured. Would be interested in a full 3.5" system, I'm not very fond of changes in diameter but this would be good for people that don't want a full turbo-back. 3" all the way downpipes into 4" or 3.5" downpipe back would be a hell of a system.

I don't think anyone has questioned performance and/or quality....they questioned design influences which points to a 'visual' aspect of the muffler in question. It CANNOT be denied that both look very similar...that being said it is unfair to blast the OP for a similar design....since most of the muffler systems out there for the 135i look very similar (Maddad, RR, CPE, etc, etc...save for the finishes on said mufflers). |

There aren't many options for routing of the piping or location of the tips. Of course most aftermarket systems will look fairly similar.
