Got a question of ordering performance bumper.

Hello, guys.

I got a question of ordering E82 performance bumper which has been discontinued since 2012. (I guess)

I found this on the web (https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...w2LWdhcw%3D%3D).

Will this one include all of the front bumper kits (ex. not only bumper cover, but also air duct parts, etc.) as shown in the picture below?

Hope you guys have a great weekend.

Cheers!

You should PM one of the tischer guys (they run that site). You can find them all over the vendor for sale sections.

On the US model anyway, you would need to order 51740442875 to get the cooling ducts. The bumper package comes with blanks since the 128i doesn't have ducting stock.

If you need the headlight washer parts, I think there's an option for that.

Do you all know if anyone still has the bumper in stock? It seems to be discontinued everywhere.

I got it a couple months back from my dealer and i will say it was a struggle. I would highly recommend not ordering a kit as 3 times in the kit i got the wrong bumper, but all of the right accessories, bolts, etc. So i ended up ordering individual parts (kind of - ended up cheating the system).

Is there a way to retrofit the 51740442875 cooling ducts to the 128i? Or is that a waste

Not sure if this helps but i recently installed the Kerscher tuning 1m replica front bumper and perfectly fitted 1M ducts. Can you believe on the OEM bumper that only one side of the bumper had brake induction? What the hell BMW.

the other side is for the oil cooler I believe

Don't want to go the replica route and have my own thoughts on 1M bumpers on 125i/128i's although I know they make replica ones (ECS Tuning has these I think) with ducts for the 135/128 M Sport if you opt for no fogs.

anything extra aside from the things in the kit? MAS bumper adapter, the ducts, screws, bumper etc

I know you use the air ducts but do you use the oil cooler thing too?

Do you use your existing liners if you have M Sport already/fabricate cutouts for the ducts or get the M Sport ones if you don't?

Looks great!

Sold the oilcooler duct. Just Kept the brake ducts.

M liners already have the correct cutouts.
Also Mounting them was like oem.

135i cooling kit only Contains brake ducts and oil cooler duct for passenger side...

Awesome!!! Great to hear. I just got my kit in the mail and I can't wait to get this on. I have stored my license plates for the winter and since we are in this mess I haven't been able to get em from the registration department
