12.85 @106.65*UPDATED w/timeslip*

I raced last night at Houston Raceway Park, TX. My mods are JB2, BMS Intake and Nitto Drag Radials. It has a 12.7 as is, possible a 12.6 with a perfect everything I think. I was consistently pulling 1.8 60fts. With a tad lower than a 1/4 tank, it weighed 3495 with me in it. I weigh about 180. I'll post the slip up when I get back to Colorado in a day or two.

1.8sec 60' is great!! Good work, Bizall.

I went last night too, and could not get any traction, and was getting 2.0sec 60' times. I was finishing up at 109.4mph tho. My best was 12.9 last night. First time in the 12's for me. Would spin in every gear. Really tough to get traction. Need DRs if I want to get much better times.

Larry, 12's is nice for street tires, and the 2 sec 60' is about as good as you can get on streets too I think. I take it you have a piggyback or flash also?

Drag strip times always include a rollout. That's where the rollout comes from in the first place. The ET counter starts when your front tires clear the beam.

the trap seems a little stockesque no? the ET is good but you can attribute that to the drag radials more than anything else.

My trap speed is a bit lower because of the 60ft I pulled. On street tires, i'm sure it would have been at least 108-109. My fastest MPH with d/r was a 107.68. Hey, Larry, what all mods do you have? Great times with street tires.

Theoretically, I might have a JB2H, and might have been running ~96 Octane.

I could not hammer the throttle in any gear. I could spin the tires at will, just too much power for the tires that day. If I had DR traction, I think I should've been low 12's, maybe even better.

The power was there, the traction wasn't even close.

I think it was around 95-100 degrees. Yep, pretty spicy. Here's my slip...

Thanks. I'm hopefully I can make it back down there when it is cooler. I'm sure with colder temps, I could hit a 12.6 easily. With JB3, possibly a 12.4 and even lower with race gas. We'll see.

And if you shallow stage, you can drop a bit of ET because you will have more of a roll. But then it makes it harder to cut a good light.

I think I would/will stop when I hit 11's. I think JB3, DPs, and race gas would put it really close. Probally a 12.1 or 12.2. Never know though.
