They're very hard to find and any you find will be incredibly expensive as they don't make them anymore.

Apparently they are the same as recaro cs sportster seats. I hear the only difference is that the bmw ones have the name on them.

Just my 2 cents as I was looking at buying new seats for a while.

The recaro sportster cs also has the air bag option. I would prefer the oem ones depending on the price differential if you ever locate a set.

These were $5.5K AUD landed or thereabouts back when the AUD was booming!!

These would be $8k (?) a set now if you could find them new!

There are 2 sets that I know of in Australia. One was in Advan for sale from a customer's part-out last year or maybe the year before. And the other one was in Perth.

That's 1/3 of the current value of the car... you're better off using the $ for next car.

*1M is an exception and could be worth installing still since the car is still quite $$$

Yup way overpriced but they're a bloody nice seat!

Personally I would go for leather recaro CS's

Recaro cs's aren't any cheaper especially when you price up everything to go with them

Yes but they're leather, alcantara seats imo are a PITA to keep clean and keep looking good

Every little bit of fluff sticks to them, then they start to ball up and look funky...

Last time I done the pricing the CS's were about $1500 a set cheaper (sourced from the USA)

Very true it just would be easier if someone already had a set and was willing to part with them complete
And all I had to do is bolt them in
