Clutch upgrade

Anything available or should I just stick to the stock one? I want something heavier for the feel as mine will need to be replaced in the near future.

Ah I just checked it.

Clutch masters makes a clutch kit. Alternatively there's a local guy here who redoes oem clutches and adds Kevlar etc. place is called euro drive I might just use him although it's more downtime.

Ive seen 328i Stage 1 clutches from a place called Spec or a place simmilar to diffs-online. Overall e90post should have more mentions of who got what Stage 1 kit

Id say 330i clutch is only streetcar friendly upgrade that i've seen.
Valeo as an OEM may have them.

One thing that would be cool is that Valeo single mass flywheel conversion - they made one fro e46 for some reason, it got good reviews on e46fanatics.

You can get an aluminum flywheel lightweight for our cars. Jrp stocks it locally and the price is way cheaper than the dealer equivalent. I doubt I'll need a flywheel though.

the Valeo single mass was not Light weight- just an alternative to Dual mass for e46. Not sure why it even exists but the review was good on e46 forums

If you want a good daily driving friendly upgrade, get the E90 330i clutch. Everything else is some variety of step down from there.

I would suspect no. The E34 M5 clutch people used all the time in higher power E36 M3 applications felt like a nice progressive stock unit.

There's the Clutchmasters 850 dual disc clutch with a lightweight billet flywheel for the N52 but it's more of a switch and hard to drive on the street. Absolutely rocks on the track though.

I drove a friend's E36 M w/a LTW flywheel and a M5 clutch.

Felt really good, could clearly tell the harder pull...but that's from the flywheel

Dunno right offhand, it was custom made for the shop that did the work. I'm checking with them for the information and will post when I have something useful.

[edit] Checked with the shop and they didn't have a p/n but said it's a series 850 with the lightweight flywheel for an N52B30, pretty much all they had. I know the clutch is used on their racecars but they had to sent an OE flywheel to them to have the billet flywheel made. First one for an N52 afaik but should be available if someone asks for it. Not very useful, sorry about that. [/edit]

Guys, sorry to bump an old thread. But can I take it from here that others have paired a 330i 240mm clutch kit with the the 325i/128i GS6-17BG trans?
