$500 ... what to get?

I have a 2009 135 and am looking at getting a few more mods. My only mods are the JB2 and true duel exhaust out factory DPs. I will have about $500 to spend on the mods. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks for the input.

This is really off topic, but by any chance do you have pictures of your exhaust set up? Do you like the way it sounds? Does it backfire a lot more than normal?

When I get back to the states in 2 weeks I'm going to make a video of the exhaust and hopefully a few runs at the 1/4 mile

Since you are in Texas, you really should do the FMIC. It's more than the $500, but it will really help a ton and if/when you get a DCI makes the whole heat vs flow point moot.

As far as cosmetic mods, that's a personal preference minefield.

Really does depend on your goals for the car. You could do the DCI and E92/3 front sway bar. That would something for both better air flow and much less body roll in cornering. Just my $.02

Used jb3 ($200-$250), VK dp's ($200-$250), and splurge a bit for a used basic coolingmist meth kit and you will be on your way to the 11's with a bit of race gas and some luck.

I'm thinking I may do the JB3 or splurge a little for the FMIC. I'm not as interested in the suspension components only because I don't autox or track the car enough yet. Mostly looking at engine performence and good 1/4 mile times.

Then why not get a used jb3, used dp's and meth?

Dont waste your money on a fmic

Not sure if I want to mess with the DPs just yet however if I went that route, I could finally compete against two of my friends, one with a Supra, the other a mustang, both run 11s.

I should also add that this is my daily driver so I want to keep it "street legal" more or less.

Mine is a dd (well it was for a while) and I ran catless (still do) so its not a big deal. Just get it tested before you do it so the car is up to date for longer. Are you a 6mt or at?

Either way it will be a bit before you are competing with a supra but with:
jb3
dp's
meth
fmic
intake
tires
you will be dam close and if you are a at then you might even surpass them.

I'm thinking the best option for now is the JB3. I may be able to get a custom fmic and intake from a friend who has a small company. It just so happens its the same guy with the supra. I will be his first BMW. Then I will start looking at the dp's and meth kit.

Thanks for all the input so far. Its been a great help in my search for the next mod.

With just $500? CF spoiler. I consider it a must have once you start modding.

If you can get the fmic for cheap then go for it but be aware that you will not see the pressure drop that a cp-e or ams will produce which puts more strain on turbo's. If you want to be able to run 11's you need a quality fmic and I doubt he can produce something to the quality of a large vendor.

With a tune you can run map5, with dp's you can use 7, and with meth you can go to 9 (track only), and with fmic you can go 11+ with race gas

If you were in Germany, I'd recommend Pascha in Cologne. Your $500 would go far and you would most definitely enjoy yourself.
