Spotty HD Radio Signal Coverage
FYI...for those of you considering adding HD Radio as an option, we have found that the HD Radio signal coverage is spotty where we live (SF East Bay). We were under the impression that HD Radio signals were as prevalent as analog, but found a website that indicates coverage is only about 60% of analog. Wish we knew this before spending the extra $400.

Thanks for the tip. I also live in the East Bay and I was expecting HD radio reception to be spotty at best. Even analog FM stations don't tune in very well on 680 between Dublin and Walnut Creek. I'm still going to get the HD radio because I intend to get the BMW Navigation which includes HD radio for free. I probably wouldn't have selected it if I had to pay extra for it. Hopefully as HD radio becomes more ubiquitous, reception will improve. :iono:
