Tommorow the deal gets done! Vote!

Hey everyone,

I have now been apart of this board for the past 5 months and have listened to everything that has been said, whether they were con’s and pro’s. I took everything in and made my decision as to what I want. I currently drive my 2006 STI (Lot’s of Mods), but have since gotten tired of the “ricer” look and wanted to move up to something luxury. So I came to the 1 series, which has had tremendous reviews from everywhere. I had to decide whether I wanted the 135i which has the Luxury with the power and torque, or the 128i which has the luxury and the everyday Daily driving needs. I came to the conclusion that the 128i would fit my situation the best right now. Being a college student, and working for a big company. I have contacted my dealer and he made it sure that he could do the deal, so I told him I will be in on Thursday to look over it. This is the offer he accepted:

2009 Base BMW 128i: $26,865

4AT High Gloss Black Trim: NA
522 Xenon Headlights: $730
6FL iPod and USB Adapter: $365
ZSP Sport Package: $1,185

Non-Metallic Paint: Alpine White: NA

Destination Charge: $825

That leaves me at an invoice total of $29,645.00 before taxes.

The dealer will have a markup of $500 over invoice then making it: $30,470.00

I believe that this is a great deal and I will be happy with my decision.

But I wanted to post and get your ideas and thoughts as to if this car will satisfy all of my needs.

Once again guys,

Thanks!

Are you selling your STI outright or trading it in? If trading, how much did they give/offer you? I got insulted by a 17k trade offer here.

17K? Wow man, I looked online to see how much they were going for. I will most likely being selling it privatley while my car is being built. My 2006 STI, has 20k miles on it. I want 23k.

135i all the way bro.
if you are spending 30k, why not add 5k more and get the best sports car(stripped) in the line? actually its only about 2k more if you're buying in invoice. xenon is standard on 135

If there was anyway to get a 135i, with the sports package at the price of $34,500. I would be sold...but doesn't seem like it can happen.

The 128 is a great car, I'm sure, but that'd be a pretty big performance hit compared to what you are now driving. I would not do it.
