I'm so sick of reading about the 1M! They announced it literally 3 weeks after I took delivery of my 135i and I've been dying of jealousy ever since.

They only did that here in Australia, however I think we only got 400, US got 1200?

US total is 740.

The 1M and RS products both have their merits, each has different strengths. To say one car dominates another outright is a little misguided...there is more parity than ever in the automotive industry. 1M on the track? Sure, that would be my 1st choice out of my stable. But there are some stellar attributes to the RSs.....

It must have, I agree but what are they then? Name us those attributes since you drive both cars, joking or not before I named two already: better snow-ice-wet traction, more comfortable in heavy traffic due to DSG, now I remember another thing since I have two small kids it must be way much easier to put in and out the child seats because it is a 5 door hatch (it has less space at the rear in terms of numbers also smaller trunk but it has 5 doors we get it). OK, what else? Remembered another, must be faster in first 100-120 kms thanks to launch control + 4wd.

Already some list. And what else? What it does better as a SPORTS CAR for example? I don't know the answer, I have 0 personal experience with RS3 but you say you do and please tell us what is good in RS3? And tell me you did drive RS3, because TT-RS is a cool design coupe with a manual gearbox choice (obligatory in US I guess), it is not that identical with RS3, it has a bit more soul.

The Audi will definitely have a higher quality interior. Does that make it a better Sports Car? I dunno.

It's clear that both are good, but when we're talking about driver involvement and track performances 1M is for sure the better car!

In this moment I would like to see the proper comparative in this class: M135i x-drive vs RS3

+1. Well said. A 5 door M135i x-drive with 8 speed auto is the proper rival for RS3, other than 1 being a new concept compared to RS3 representing the old generation A3.
