Dry Creek General Store
3495 Dry Creek Road, Healdsburg, CA is for food and good byes. After that it is home for everyone. The official end point it 101 / 37 where we split to drive back to Sac Town.

Hwy. 1 on a weekend can be busy, but hopefully since it's after Labor Day it should be less busy. After Bodega Bay traffic seems to thin out a bit. As for the road cutting across to Healdsburg I'm not sure which road it is so maybe Adam can shed light on it. Either way it is about as scenic as it gets.
The road is smooth in almost all spots, but if you pull off into any of the scenic overlooks expect a small amount of gravel. Last edited by blutattoo; 09-04-2012 at 10:10 PM.. Reason: added to it |

I never post route details on my drives to make sure there is not lurking CHP eyes. Roads will be pretty smooth for most of it. There are the usual patches of slight bumpy road but those are short and far between. So 98% smooth with a little bump but nothing crazy like Mines Run.

See above. Only the usual big bumps may cause you to rub a little here and there. Time to run smaller tires HAHA.

That's good that it's smooth though. shouldn't be too much of a problem. I hope the norcal drive site doesn't give too much detail to 5-0 either Lol. |
