I've been considering this mod, but the following reasons cause hesitation:

1) It appears SSTT is optimized for fuel octane 93 or better. I've also heard of boost/timing issues in certain cases with 91, which is unfortunately the highest octane available in the majority of areas in California.

2) There is a SSTT2 in the works.

3) There are other options that are arguably better, such as JBx and PROcede, although they are piggybacks, unlike SSTT.

Can't decide!
I completely understand your thoughts, but I noticed there is a huge amount of race fuel stations around here in the bay area. Would 100 octane be too much??

There are very few gas stations that offer 100 octane, at least in the East Bay, and unfortunately, I'd have to drive a bit out of my way to get to one. How much is 100 running for these days? Maybe I don't want to know...today, I fueled up and paid $4.59 per gallon. Ridiculous. At this rate, we'll see $6 per gal by next year. Didn't mean to get off topic.
