Been a fun ride...

Well guys (and gals), it has been a great ride with all of you. Learning about the platform and what I need to do to get the most out of my car. I am going to be selling my 1er here soon and picking up a new toy. Just wanted to say thanks to the 128i thread as everyone here has been an asset to building a great looking 128i. Good luck with all of your builds.

Have post of all my upgrades for sale in the for sale section.

See you around the boards

You're going so far as to post a farewell, which seems to be a thinly veiled promotion for your part out...AND YOU WON'T EVEN SAY WHICH NEW 'TOY' YOU'RE GETTING? Come on now. Let us know what that new toy is.

Haters gonna Hate I guess... Thats what I get for saying you all have been helpful. Haven't decided yet. Might be moving up the bmw ladder or moving over to another RWD option. I miss having an LSD.

It's pretty clear why you posted this thread. Funny how your link is now gone.

Too much butt hurt in this thread! Nothing wrong with promoting your FS thread IMO, but I thought The Wind Breezes was just giving you a hard time and then it got all serious! Oh well. Take care and good luck. You're gonna miss your 1er, though!

BTW, why the name change when you're leaving anyway?

an LSD can easily be installed in your 128i, but best of luck in your future endeavors!

I was just giving him a hard time, but he didn't fess up and tried to play the victim, so I had to continue busting his balls...

An LSD is cheaper than a new car

Not enough power in my auto 128i for an LSD IMO. 6MT I might.

Winded, I did promote my thread. Also not my first time dealing with someone busting my balls on a forum. Not a big deal. Surprised someone called me out so quickly though. Thumbs up to you. Took it away my thread after you called me you bc figured a moderator would flag the post because of it (happened before). I can always add it back in for you if you cannot find it in the for sale section.

Changed my name bc if I decide to go with a 135i I still will be around. Only changed it since I have been rocking the red ranger photo for awhile, thought it was appropriate.

I have been looking at 08/09 M3's or possibly a 6MT 135i if I go with another BMW. Been looking at 370z's, but the quality doesn't seem as great (yes I know a 135i does not have an LSD stock).

Cannot afford a Porsche so that is off the table.

M2 will be here in the spring...one recently turned 7:58 at Nring, faster than the V8 M3, and only 5 sec. off the M4, with 60 less HP...6 speed will be available and free.

Had the buyer back out of buying my car this week. Also found a cheap DD truck with low miles that I picked up. So I guess I will be able to hold off on getting rid of my 128i after all! Will give me time to save up for that M2!!!

Until then, time to put on the stage 3 manifold, BBK, and blacklines to round out the car.

Just saw this, lolol you must not have driven it very hard if you think it couldn't use an LSD.

I sure it could use one for track days, but the traction control is pretty awesome in the 1 series for DD and has been able to handle everything I have thrown at it so far. That being said I do wish it would pull harder out of the corner and the lag in the throttle is annoying (lag being fixed thanks to Active Autowerke).
