Some nice comparison pictures of 1M vs 135i

I don't think it's hideous... I just don't like the Hot Wheels look-at-me random slits and jagged edges in the design of the front and the back. Also, I never liked the big bug-eyed headlights on any 1er in general. But those are small things to complain about

But that quad exhaust... looks horrible. Hondagonerogue, Simon135i and others on this forum have much nicer looking aftermarket systems from bastuck remus etc, and iCarbon and other companies have much nicer looking CF and non-CF diffusers. Ew.

Anyone also notice how close the "unique" valencia orange color is to the red metallic 135i color? It's just too close to be a super special ///M exclusive color... IMO at least.

Otherwise.. i want it! Just not possible. The non-unique engine, so-so looks (still like the looks, just not a HUGE jump in awesomeness, especially with my tii bumper and new hood getting installed), limited options, and other stuff make me feel a tiny bit better about not being able to get one any time soon. But I still want it!

is it me or does the 135i front bumper looks like it channels more air onto the intercooler than the 1M's bumper? opening looks wider/bigger on the 135i

As for my opinion on the 1M, I think it good that this car was made. I think it will be a good source of parts for us 135i owners

This is what people said about the E30 M3 when it was introduced. The "boy racer" look was not appealing to quite a few. Not now, though.

Well there are similarities to the X6M and the black plastic diffuser looks the same as the one on the new X3 M Sport.

If you look closely at the front strut brace on the 1M. It is different it's identical to the E9X M3 front strut brace. It wraps all the way around the strut. looks like a simple suspension upgrade to your 135I's! thats the only difference i could see
