Intake stand alone?

What if one is not running any other mods? I installed an aFe intake (open top dual cone) and it seem like I have lost all my low end performance. I read that it could be heat soak as I am in AZ. Should I put stock air box back on until I get a tune to run more boost?

Some people will say you would lose power because of heat soak and other will say you will gain power ( strangely i have seen dynos proving both statements).
Either way it should not be anything significant.

I have a Tune right now but the car won't let me use it because my spark plugs need to be changed.

Front mount intercooler. The stock one is garbage. If ur tuned a new intercooler and charge pipe should be next upgrades if you don't have them already
