Missing\rough idle at cold start

Yep, I had mine replaced under warranty too. Looks like either their VC gaskets suck, or the guy who did it was a mook.

Just looking at realoem.com right now; looks like a helluva job to replace:

A cracked valve cover may cause a vacuum leak which can effect idle performance

Hi everybody, My car is a 1.16 2007 model BMW. my car's problem is when i start it cold. When operating normally between 10 and 30 seconds, the idle speed rises and the engine light comes on. In this way, after running for 1 or 2 minutes, there is no problem when I stop and run it again. engine light is not on. The sound was coming from the throttle body. I changed it but the error persists. Every time I press the accelerator pedal there is a sound from the throttle body. When I press this for the first time, the sound is not continuous. Also the idle is above 1 rpm. After the car warms up there is no problem. please support.
