For the moment I plan to put E93EDC shocks with H&R springs, E36 bump stops, front shaved mounts on my 335i
and then control the EDC simply by varying the current to have "static" settings like soft and sport I already have complete M3 rear axle + M3 LSD + front carriers with E92M3 dampers! and front + rear M3 brakes Yes I am doing what BMW did to the 135i to become an 1M I am doing a 335iM |

Can you share how you build the 'DIY' EDC current drivers? Does anyone have any info on the EDC's electric resistance behavior (assuming LR)? Did you measure the original EDC drive signals? PWM? Carrier frequency? |

Still in the works... pause for summer break.
I am still looking for someone near me with an M3 so that I can scope the signal going to the dampers. It is for sure PWM driven, but need to know the frequency Hz of the signal... Anyone can help on this? |

Original 1M owners were teased till they had fluorescent blue balls, so do not think your teasing will make us cave.
But since this OEM retrofit is still on my wannado list: please do tell???? |
