key stuck battery might be dead?

Hi all! I was going to drive in my bmw 118d from 2006 today, but when i got it and turned ignition on and tried to start it everything went out all lights and so on. The key where also stuck like it would release it also the trunk was locked. I then tried to open and close door and then i got power for a very short amount of time and in thord tried it started. Could this be a flat or dead battery? Also my idrive screen is glitching at start up and goes up and down as it pleases and can go up but stay sturned off all blck. Hope you can help thanks!
