Do you know what temperature this is designed to open at?

I'm not really sure, but when I had used a similar one in the past, it warms up like usual and the oil temp needle didn't go past 230F after fully warming up. Also This one is not like the BMS one , which takes long time to warm up and can be used during winter.

The product description has below data if its useful

"If you would like to control the oil temperature of your engine between 194F (90c) to 230F (110c) this is the best solution for your car"
