Need an option guys, don't know if I should go for Orion v2 with correct sizes or Orion v4 with either smaller angel eyes or with E90 sizes with the U shape outside ring
There's also Luce Produkt AE that oneighty uses but the Angels seem a lot thinner

Was going to do DTM but can't find a decent brand and didn't want to do a custom eyebrow

I am very interested in how your headlights came out! I just got an e82 this week and after reading this post I wanted to do the same myself. Did you successfully swap the light covers?

I went with bavgruppe in my pre lci lights and i really love the look. For an E82 with the bavgruppe you dont need to install an eyebrow because there is nothing to cut, usually the eyebrow is used because in most retrofits the top of the shroud/halo itself has to be adjusted.. ill show ya some pics of what i mean.. unless youre a crazy OCD perfectionist than i would recommend the eyebrow just for wire hiding.

This was just a test fitting for one i did but if no eyebrow is used what you can do is pull the wires tight and paint the ends black where the wire slip covers closest to the light, it wont be noticeable much at all and especially at night unless someones really looking..

Hi man,
Do you complete the use of halogen cover lens with eyebrow to your xenon?

Hey man, did you end up posting a video of where to cut?
I'm planning to open my headlights sometime soon to install BavGruppe V3 round lights in my e87 pre-lci adaptive xenon headlights.
I'd really like to know how to open up the headlights the best way possible.
I'll be resealing them after so cutting seems to be the best option.

No. I didn't cut. There is a plastic support piece that is really thick and the blade can't get through it. I opened up with a heat gun which took a long time.

I have a write up on what I found to be the easiest way and most successful way to open our headlights. It's stickied in the diy sub forum! Good luck.
