Anyway you are right, 3 stage intake + tune is an excellent mod but catess headers + tune is a little bit better. That's what a local tuner showed me by letting me look at some dyno graph results. He got 264 hp at the crank on a 128i with supersprint exhaust and custom tune. My 125i with tune is stuck at 260hp with stock exhaust (and in Europe we do not have secondary cats!). car-part.com i got mine for 260 out the door from an X3 with 24k miles. I was lucky enough find it locally. Plus AA tune is around 400. Or you can new manifold for about 1100.
