[AUS] Early 1addicts members - what are you driving now?

Thought it'd be interesting to see what the members from 2008-2012 are driving now

Are any of you guys still around?

I went to a 2013 Lotus Elise S and then to a 2016 Lotus Exige CR.

Both have been have been daily drivers and have seen at least 15 track days a year.

Not as comfortable as the BMW as a daily but way cheaper to run on the track and always delivers an awesome drive.

Since I sold my 135i I've had

Renault Megane 275 Trophy R- sold after 6 months, couldn't get on with FWD and needed something with more than two fixed back bucket seats for impending first child.

So bought E36 M3 track car. My favourite car ever.

doing it's thing

and e90 M3 daily

E90 engine ate it's bearings. Just finishing up swapping in a replacement engine, then will offload.

Waiting on delivery of a M140i Performance Edition.
Grey, manual, LSD, exhaust etc.

Passing me in limp mode no less.... Lol.

Looks like it turns into corners way better than the 135's, expected. But when I was behind you I was surprised out how well it got out of corners as well. Going to be awesome with the new motor.

Still driving the 1M as a daily. Part of me is bored and ready for a change, but then I keep thinking I'll regret it if I sell the car. And what would I replace it with?

Couple of potential daily drivers for the future: Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, Renault Alpine, Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo.

I also suspect that 1M prices have finally bottomed out in Aus and may be heading up so really the smart thing would be to just keep it.

Few hundred kilos less weight helps in the corners.
For reference my old 135i was 20kmh higher on the back straight, but only half a second faster.
Yours will be a beast with a well sized single.

Never been a big poster but I never did get that 135i...

Back when I joined I had a VW Polo Gti mildy worked.. I miss that that thing.

Then I had a VE SS ute for work... yuk

Now in a 2015 M135i which has been serving me well.

Sometimes I toy with the idea of getting a 135i for the wifey so I can mod the crap out of it and then my rational mindset says keep the money in the bank.
