Sidemarkers

In the process of my bodywork and need to order side markers.

Looking at stock, painted IND. Not sure if there are other options.

Anyone have opinions on the IND finish quality?

Appreciate the help.

I got some IND 2nd hand, and when I installed it, part of the black paint chipped off. Underneath it it was still chrome. I was a bit surprised by this, as I expected them to had at least sanded and primed it.

I also have a set of painted CF mirrors from IND. The paint quality on those are really good.

Is the chrome part removable?

Well, I figure they just used the stock 1M marker. If they were going to paint over them, I would think a good sanding and a primer coat would be optimal before painting over it. I'm not sure or an expert, but I just figured that would be the best way to get the paint to adhere and possibly prevent a part of the paint from chipping off.

Sounds like someone cut corners. I'll have to look into it some more and send an email to IND. Figured the chrome housing was separate from the indicator light assembly as it is on the E9xM3. Though not the same part they look damn similar

My chrome ones started to look a little worn. Purchased IND black side markers. Satisfied with finish. Looks much better. Fairly easy to DIY, Just take your time.

Got a matching set of sidemarkers and grilles in Black Chrome coming from IND. Talked with them and satisfied that if there's a finish adhesion issue early they'll take care of it.
