You got me on that one. Back in the day, buying a Dinan tuning package meant you were getting something that was 50 state legal that would be as reliable as a stock car.

I think their quality standard is consistent but I think they have abandoned going carb legal as I imagine the increased restrictions and cost of the process must be growingly difficult.

If he was only reasonably priced he would make a ton more money....what a crock. He runs an engineering firm...Ok well go work for BMW racing...The demand is there for modifications but at half that price....

Seems that you're unaware that Dinan built all the BMW motors that were run in the ALMS Daytona Prototypes...

I don't buy his stuff, but he has without question a very successful business model.
