SNOW/Freezing weather question
hi all,
THis is a noob question but sorry I was not able to find any useful info online. Im planning to move to Chicago from Los Angeles very soon, and am taking my car with me. my question is, when it's freezing outside and there is ice on the windows, and as the door windows move down as I open the door, isn't this an issue? Thanks in advance |

Born and raised in Chicago and I've never had an issue with ice on the driver/passenger windows. If you have enough ice on the car to be an issue, you'll have more trouble trying to open the door than the window being damaged.
If you really want to be on the safe side, you can slide something along the bottom window edge to break up any ice buildup, but thats really overkill. |
