Viseeo Tune2air!! Bluetooth streaming solved

I picked up a Viseeo (or Bovee?) Tune2Air and I'm really impressed with the sound quality streaming music w/ iPhone/iPod and Pandora.

I got the WMA2000 which is the USB only version. Plugged it in, connected up on my iPhone & can stream music or Pandora to the head unit and still control the music from the steering wheel. Volume & tracks skip + track name shows up on my stereo. The sound quality is really good too. Just like plugging in w/ the apple USB-to-lightning plug.

The wma2000 worked for me b/c I have the combox 6VC and 6FL usb/audio interface . Calls still work via my Bluetooth. It muets the music when I get a call and when the call is done plays on.

I'lll second the Tune2Air but I had to purchase the BMW-specific one the WMA3000. It works quite well and only once in a while does it forget to connect up.

Since I don't have the Combox I think that i need to have the aux in as well as USB. However it works out I don't care since it is seamless now and works across all apps. Heck, I was able to stream the Tour De France last summer on the the TdF app and listen to paul and phil over the speakers while my wife was watching the action on the screen since I was driving.

Sound right...

WMA2000 if you can connect and use just the lightning cable.

WMA3000 if you don't have combox and have to use the y-cable.

I just received my tune2air WMA3000B designed specifically for BMW's...

And it does not work.. it connects okay but the connection will drop after a minute.
Also the steering wheel control does not work which is very disappointing...

Did I get a lemon?
Does it only work with Iphones? I'm using Samsung Note 5.

Works w/ iPhone. Do you know if you need the Y cable or can you play direct via USB?

Mine works great. Only time it disconnects is right when I start it up in my garage and in still on my home wifi & Bluetooth to my stereo. Once I get going it stays connected and buttons work to skip tracks w/ Pandora.

What are the last 7 of your VIN?

I don't have idrive.
I only have the 2 ports (USB and aux) under the arm rest.
I put my music on a USB thumb drive and plug it on the USB port under the arm rest.

The last 7 of my vin is VS96458

Ok so I ran your vin through the BMW vin archive at www.bimmer.work. You have the same set up I have:

6AA Bmw Teleservices
6AB Control Teleservices
6FL Usb-/audio Interface
6VC Control Combox

The combox allows you to just use the USB w/ out the need for the Y cable. So you need the wma2000 same as I have. My guess is that the extra Aux plug on the WMA3000 is causing confusion on your system.

You need the wma2000. I ordered mine from their site. It was the only place I could find it for sale. I think it was this site:

That's the exact one I bought off of Amazon.
I guess WMA3000b only works with idrive system.
I returned mine today and ended up buying the WMA2000!

The MWA3000B for you. No Y cable needed with this device.

Only the WMA3000B is on Amazon. To get the WMA2000 I had to order direct from their website. Not sure why its not on amazon but its not.

No problem. I'm pretty sure that will fix you right up! If not I think they have a decent return policy on orders through their site. I think it was 40 days or something around that.

I don't think the idrive or not matters.

If you have COMBOX you can play using just a USB cable (lightning cable w/ iphone) then the WMA2000 should work.

If no COMBOX (which means the Y cable is needed to control from the wheel) then its the WMA3000.

i have the same without the 693 but with 663 professional radio.

and idea which version i need? i can play audio over usb from an Android phone reading the folder directory from the phone and without the aux. but don't have an iphone to try it.

i have usb, aux and 12v power in the centre console.

I'm also interested in a solution. But mine is an 08 with idrive and only a single aux input (no usb). The only item on my build sheet from the above is "control teleservices". I dont have any of the other features. Is there any product that could help me stream music to my Hi-fi stereo?

If you can play over USB from the phone and skip tracks then probably the WMA2000 since it sounds like you don't need the Y cable with the aux in to make it work.

According to their site Tune2air can work with iPhone and most Android phones, but with Android phones, there will be no playlist displayed.

I dont want to replace my factory bluetooth setup for phone use. That works well. I just want to add bluetooth music streaming. Can a device like the above co-exist with the factory phone functions?

Not sure on that one. There are devices that just do streaming to Aux. Most of them stream poor quality sound though which is a function of the quality of the codec used. The iSimple had decent quality music and the phone worked really well b/c of hte mic button on the dash. I'm not sure if it would stay separated.

It took a while but my WMA2000 finally arrived from Europe.

HOWEVER.... it still does not work as well as I hoped..

The steering wheel button does not work well..
When I press the up button (next track) it will go to the next track and stop playing.
I have to manually press "play" button on my mobile device again for the music to play.

If I press up button again, for some reason, it will go back to the previous track.

So pressing up button will go to the next track, and pressing it again will return to previous track, and so on. So it only switches song between those two tracks..

I tried again on a different mobile device, and pressing up button will only bring the song back to the beginning and not change the track at all.

Same story for pressing the down button on the steering wheel.

I have not yet tried on any apple devices.. but so far with android device, it's been a letdown for me.. especially when I had high hopes for this device

Thank you Gangplank for helping me but I'm about to call it quits with this device and go back to playing music off of a USB drive..

Works well with my old iPad.. guess it likes apple but not android.. Time to save up for an iPad mini for my car now.

I've been meaning to have a small tablet standing in the space in front of the shifter for a while now and nexus 7 was perfect for me.
Searching for music 2 lines at a time on the small LCD was very annoying.
I wanted to have a big list of my music on a screen so I can choose the songs with ease whenever I wanted to.
So getting an iPhone wouldn't work for me.

Plus I'm an android fanboy
I used to love iPhones but kinda got bored with limited ability to customize the phone.
