Just picked up a 2012 128i 'vert.
Absolutely must have android auto and a backup camera added, it has the idrive with nav, parking sensors and 8.8" screen from the factory. Need opinions on whether to: buy and install the "retrofit" interface box such as the bimmertech but the much cheaper aliexpress versions for like $250US add a camera for like $75 and use factory "non-touch" screen or get the avin 10.25" with thier backup camera and wifi OBD2 for torque and coding, for like $500? I like saving money but a bigger brighter screen would be nice unimportant info just in case, it has the HK audio and is a manual trans |
