Changing H3 turning lights
wanted to switch the h3 turning lights today for mtecs....
but theres a bar above the cap, dunno what to do... DIY ne1?

yeah, searched & read the manual.
I know that i have to use a screwdriver and open that cap. But i cant get the cap off because above the cap is this..

no, h8 access is on the back of the headlight .
h3 access is on top of the headlight. but i cant get that fukn cap off. id have to take of like 10000 parts just to remove the cap.. ideas? it looks so ugly with white angel eyes and yellow corner lights

the manual is BS.
it aint working like that.... theres something above the cap, thats why you cant get it off. even if you get the cap off, you cant even remove the bulp tru that hole... its 2 small

its really not that hard...there is a small indent on either side of the OUTSIDE of the covers. push your flathead down into that and pop the sucker off. i just did it in my garage to make sure...took less than 30 sec....

yeah i know how you get it open.
but can you remove the plastic cover? and get the bulp out? i didnt even get the cover off, just opened a bit and go stuck.

well, i got it off.
but anyone who got problems with changing the h8's better beware of changing the h3's (i can change the h8 in like 3mins now..mtecs suck). Speaking of the drivers side. you take a flat head, pull out the 2 clips on the side. lift the cap up a bit, use the flat head, put it in the gap on the left and turn it. now it comes off. Same thing with the passanger side. But getting the bulps out is a bit of pita.
