iOS 11 doesn?t work with I-drive
I just updated to the latest IPhone OS and I no longer have control of my music via USB. The music plays but no song information or album art is displayed. Skip track function on the steering wheel control or radio control isn?t working. If I connect via Bluetooth, I can skip tracks and song titles show up.

Oh no! That’s bad news. I will get my car back tomorrow and will check it out. The usb on the car does not charge my iPhone properly or with good speed so I usually connect over Bluetooth. Thank you for the heads up.

11.01 update fixes this issue. Did the install yesterday and everything works as it should

I recently upgraded the com box/sim chip and have found that the Connected Drive app no longer works. BMW tech support suggests either a software incompatibility/update needed or to wait and see if the connected saw "catches up" in the next few days. Anyone else having this problem??

I can't get music to play on my M2 these days with iOS 10!!
Once it detects spotify, it is all over. However, the 1M is flawless.

And now, a few days later it works. At least as well as it ever does. Frankly, if BMW wants to regard itself as a technology firm, which it says it does, it needs to up its game.
