Not sure, but are the seats finished in a darker fabric than normal? the performance seats are normally a grey Alcantara fabric, these look more black.

US Spec Needed

One of you fine tuning companies out there please make a US solution for this. Carbon roofs, multiple hoods, etc are being made. Someone just make us a pair of nice race/performance seats and a wheel that match the car, work (no codes) and cost less than 5k (2.5-4K please).

I went direct to BMW AG in Germany to enquire about these and they say they have never produced any Performance seats or steering wheels with orange stitching and that this is therefore aftermarket work.

these you can buy in Germany (TVW)
http://www.tvw-cardesign.de/index.php?page=m1#
(scroll down a bit and you will see the leather seats

Leather is original BMW leather and the seats are the performance seats. I would have preferred to have the middle part alcantara like the original seats. More comfortable, less sweating, and less slippery.
I asked the price. 6'600 EURO

You say original BMW leather, do you mean the same as the standard leather in the 1M? I think the all leather seats look better as they match the rest of the car. I wouldn't of had 'competition' stitched into the headrests though.

Was the cost of 6,600 euro just for the retrim work or for the seats supplied as well?

The price is for two seats, including the seats.
If I understood correctly you can also choose for an other text (or none).
I do not know which leather it is... it is original BMW, the orange stitching material as well.

I hope you guys realize that the "performance" seats are nothing more than the Recaro Sporster CS seats that are easily available in the US, rebranded for BMW.
