my guess looking at the photo is the wheel offset is to close to +30 and needs to be +40 - +47

I spend $8.00 and just ordered the monroneylabels(.com) info via their website since the car didn't initially come with the window sticker. Wow, options can get expensive! Base price of the e88 vert was 36,900 and after options it was jacked to 50,240. Someone spent some serious coin ordering this car. Happy to have picked this up 2nd hand took advantage of depreciation!

17x7.5 +40 (the tire rack sport edition wheels). I have 3 +32's from an E90 and 1 more +40. I need to have the 40 cut down and those will be my rims for the bolted ice racing tires.

Replaced my coolant expansion tank, belt tensioner, idler pullies and belt.

I was thinking about replacing the water pump and all the coolant hoses but decided to do it later.

So I went back to pick up my hood. I didn't want to risk sitting it in the car for the drive last week so I drove over to the seller hoodless and fitted the new one for the drive home. Didn't bother with fitment much as I was going to put my stock hood back on tomorrow after work but I did some tweaking once I got home and it fits great. I'm going to fill the hood pin holes and figure out an underhood solution to securing the hood more. I love it though and can't wait to see it wrapped in the new color this spring

I welded my diff.

Not the one in my 1'er (obviously), the one in my R/C car. See, I finally stepped-up to a 3-cell LiPo pack, and proceeded to immediately shatter every single gear in its differential whilst hooning and pulling rolling wheelies, already going 20+mph. I'll see how this holds up lol

For my real car, I got the sunroof filler painted gloss black, so that it looks a little like glass, and that was it. It's hilarious having no headliner, but still having the sun visors and "oh $h!t" handles

EDIT: Sunroof cassette is only 36.4lbs. Not even half of what I expected lol. But, it's still a good weight savings up high in the car, so it'll make a difference (however small it is)...

Installed a set of PR coils in my buddies car. My set is still in the box and will be installed in the next couple of weeks.

Yeah, I agree that a stock N54/N55 is faster than most cars out there. A tuned one even better. Guess I should've said the hood bump makes it look seriously mean, like maybe a supercharged S65 (or something) under the hood. You never know...

New "legacy" vintage plates and FINALLY installed my performance exhaust. Love the PE. Car growls properly now (and I swear I can feel a little HP boost but maybe it's just placebo effect).

What does the plate mean? Thought you'd ask.

So, I got the car on the 1 year anniversary of a major life event as a celebration and gift to myself (haha, yes). It is a 2008, so "year 1 of the 1".

1 year anniversary = 1YR

1st year of the 1 = 1YR1

No way that's another 1er. Our shoulder line is above the door handle, for one thing.

It took me a year to get the my black CA plate. It is hard to come up with a plate name, but you did pretty good.

Did you get the PE with PPK or just on it's own?

I just got my CA vintage plates and it's EINER....the wife says it sounds too much like WIENEr...
