That was an E92 328i at the sellers house. Hes got a 135is as well. My roommate is about to get into an E88 135i so we'll have a couple of those in our driveway

I found a new color vinyl that I want really bad over Signal Green. Only catch is that it's a very exclusive limited edition color from a German company. Their site says only 50 rolls will be sold in Europe entirely. I'm trying to find out now how much and if it's even possible for me to get it in the states. It comes with a serialized trophy lol

I'd imagine they do an exclusive to drive the cost up.
Not worth it IMO. What if you F up the bumper again? You'll have to either live with it looking like poo or pull the whole thing and go a different color; money down the tube.
And no one but those in the know will have any idea about it. To the average person it's just green (me).

If it's a 'I want to be one of a kind' mindset, just do a dip. You can do virtually anything your mind can think of now days.

Agreed. That’s a wonderful color, but I’d be nervous if I needed a fix.

I’m personally a bit tired of companies, whether it be shoes, watches, cars or now wraps, releasing limited editions to drum up a frenzy. I’m to the point where, if it’s a limited edition, it makes me not want it.

I'm happy I decided to keep her too lol. She definitely gets me angry, but I always get reminded why I bought her in the first place.

It's funny because after owning this 135i, I seriously don't think I could EVER justify buying a new generation performance car for over $60k+

This thing has just been such a blast for a fraction of the cost. Sure when things break, we don't have a choice to foot the bill, but at this point, I don't mind. Also, it kinda sucks because as much as like the new M2 and the F80's I don't think I can justify buying one of those since the 1 has such a similar motor and better driving feel. Down the line, I may add an E92 M3 to the garage or maybe a Cayman, but I don't think I'll be getting a newer M model ever.

Yeah, I couldn't justify the price for a new M2C or M2 either, considering my car runs great and is paid for. Again, it's only money, but that just doesn't make any sense to me. Besides, I love my car. All I need is a better suspension upgrade (coming soon) and it should be about perfect for me.

I'm the 2nd owner (3rd if you count Carmax as the middleman lol). Got it at 49k miles, about to cross 83k soon. Been exactly 3 years and countless replaced parts later lol

Yeah, I totally get that sentiment. I'd be buying a full roll which is significantly more than I bought before. I actually had plenty left to rewrap my bumper after that stuff hit it but I left the remainder of the vinyl up north in my move. So that part I'm much less worried about. I'd have enough to almost wrap the car twice. As far as my wants for it, the car is a show/fun car. The more hard to find or exclusive parts the more wow factor it has as a show car. Part of why I got the hood I did as I think it's the only one or one of very very few in the states. I like that kind of stuff but I'm certainly not stupid enough to overpay greatly for it. I got that good for much less than a brand new one would have cost. If the vinyl is stupidly priced due to that "exclusivity" I'll just pass.

I'm sure you can get it or something similar if you want. No need to go buying something that's Uber rare.
