A mixed bag of goodies purchased from a tuning shop in Sydney

1) Replaced original "plastic shit" charge pipe with BMR Autowerks aftermarket kit
2) Installed LED Angel Eyes that replaced the OEM ugly orange ones (looks great against the Alpine White paint)
3) Installed Black Kidney Grills

............and then Google Play Store stole my Kw

We managed to purchase the flashing software from MHD but google decided not to let us purchase the Stage 1 maps. very frustrating .

Rang google, they said it was the bank, rang my bank and they blamed google

-------oh well, will try later, hopefully the account clears and can do the in app purchase down the track

rear shocks

Replaced my OE BMW shocks with the orange Koni STR-T. Car is an 08 128 with about 62K miles. Car is not winter driven [it's stored] so no rust issues. OE shocks were really worn out; at 1 particular dip in road, I was bottoming out. Will write more later in the Suspension section.

OK...so after the debacle with my cylinder 5 misfire, she ended up at the mechanic to get sorted. Turns out it was just an ECU issue that has now been fixed.

I also got my rear brake pads/sensor replaced (Textar pads), handbrake adjusted and a new pollen filter. Gonna do a walnut blast in a few weeks and try MHD stage 1 again once that is done.

It's been a whole week without her and im so excited to pick her up.

no carbon filter + different shaped air filter creates a larger surface area that increases airflow. it's been documented here

as for gains? hardly... the engine does sound slightly throatier and the car revs a bit nicer. it makes filter changing easier though. better than spending 400 bucks on those other aftermarket ones imo

oh trust me brotha I don't get out the driver's side.. I hop over and get out the passengers door. I'm pretty small and I haven't scuffed anything inside yet

I'm just always worried about the person who parks in the spot next to me which is why I get as close to the wall as I can #ParkingChamp
