Garage makeover
Hi
Bought a 1M BSM stripped with 40000 km in December, and didn't really had any place in my small garage of 30 m2, mostly because it was so unorganised, it also had no renovation done since 1982 so i needed to do something to get the 1M in a dry and cozy place under the winter. Almost everything is bought from IKEA need to paint the garage port, window and paint or put some tiles on the floor as well...but that can wait until April or so. |

First, congratulations on your car and welcome to the forum.
In case you were wondering, in addition to the VO color coordinated driving shoes that I have, there is also a model designed to match the BSM color (however unfortunately, there is none for AW): Bad artificial lighting accounts for the color appearance in the 2nd photo :-)

The garage looks great. I would advise spending 150-200 dollars and get a custom fit cover for the car and maybe one or two blankets over the car cover close to the work bench and or tools. All to often great cars in great garages still result in some scratch and or dent. Talking from experience in the past. Hate to see that rear fender get dinged at the crease by a pair of heavy channel locks etc.

Hi
Yes, that is on the top-list of things to invest in, the car should be 1.5 meters further in the garage when all things are in place...but I agree there is still a big chance of scratches. Do you know any good car cover for the car? |
