We'll know quickly what sizes fit the front and the rear of the car... the biggest in the rear the better IMO. Going to have to see rubbing issues etc.

255/40-18 will definitely not fit. That is a very tall tire. 255/35-18 would be a much more likely candidate.

Agreed. You can't ever have too much tire on a BMW, especially one with a 300hp Twin Turbo engine and no limit slip differential.

E90 335i with 18x10 and 305/30/18 Hoosiers

E90 with 18x10-265/35/18 tires Rear, 17x9-255/40/17 Front

We've tested E90s with wheels as large as 18x10 wheels and tires as wide as 305mm, and they fit the rear with ease. Of course the E90 is a massive car, with huge rear fenders. We'll test the 1, series as soon as they hit our shores, with 17x8.5", 17x9, 18x9 and 18x10 D-Force LTW5 wheels we always keep in stock...

I think 235/40/18 up front and 265/35/18 for the rear is a perfect set up and should fit with no problem's.
