Hope you had better luck than me at BMW of Mountain View since I actually went there to see an IS they had and to see a 135i in mineral grey for the first time, and the guy argued with me for 5 minutes that there was no such thing as a 135is, that i must mean a 335is. Go to Concord BMW, shouldn't be too far from you and they have a black sapphire 135is with black leather with blue stitching, in a convertible though, but in stick. Just sayin...

Not bad, about an hour away. We'll see if i can justify taking a 2 hour trip just to drive the car

Eh, maybe not worth an hour drive, but hey, at least you can see good pictures, even though it's a convertible. You could just borrow mine, but probably wouldn't want to since it's a DCT. =P And nobody touches my car. That too. Sister saw my car for the first time today and she kept begging me to let her drive it around a parking lot, but nope, sorry. Stick to the minivan.

I don't blame you. Nobody gets to drive my car. Save for a driving instructor on a track/autox day.

The girlfriend wants to learn how to drive stick, and I fully support this....just not in the 135.

Ya, you definitely don't want to be on that boat! What are your likely boat options/candidates at this point, assuming you're on anything from Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme on either W&W or NYK Lines (check their schedule too) that left from the day of or day after your sales lady said you weren't on a boat yet?

For W&W, the next boat doesn't leave till 9/7, and the one after that is 9/21. For NYK, there are boats on the 8/31, 9/7, and 9/14.

Not a easy wait, thats for sure.

Gotta think with 100% certainty you are least on the 8/31 boat then unless it somehow snuck on an earlier one. It'd throw your VIN into the cargo ID on W&W website just in case. There's no way your car doesn't make the 8/31 boat though.

Ooh! Pretty exciting! I'm in same situation as Worra. My car is still waiting around at Bremerhaven. Hopefully, it goes on the 8/31 boat! The wait is killing me.
