Coefficient of bug release

The other day when I left work, there was a large bug on my driver's window. One of those nasty scaly looking bugs. He was checking out the interior, I think. Anyway, as I started my drive, he stayed there so I was curious to see at what speed he would be forcibly dispelled from the window by wind velocity. It took approx. 70 MPH before the bug could no longer maintain his grip on the smooth glass and found himself propelled (probably into the windshield of the car behind me).

Not sure what any of that means. Probably means that the aerodynamics of the E90 are so good that there is very little friction against the sides of the car even at high speeds. Or, it could just mean that it was one of those rare suction-cup-footed bugs. It could also mean that I was just really bored.

I don't have to patience to do that. I usually try to turn on the wipers before he flies off... Kinda like a game; to see who's faster, me or him. That gives me way more satisfaction.

LOL! hahahah great story ledzep.

You should have called the police. You are not supposed to stand
on someone else's car and check out their interior.

Pretty funny.
By the way LEDZEP, how fast were you willing to go before conceding defeat to the bug?

I was willing to hit top speed if I had to. It was him or me... suddenly that bug had become a huge white whale... I was not going to back down from the challenge!
