Anyone Creating a M-like Hood?

I know ICarbon was doing a M3 like hood with the smaller M3 vents but they are no longer in business. Is anyone else making a similar look hood?

The SLeK M Style hood will be out in a few weeks with the power dome + m3 style vents. They are working on it right now with the vents. They ran into a few hurdles when making it since they want everything to be 100% perfect. It will be available in single sided carbon or double. Should be done in a few weeks - 1month I believe.

I also support waiting for the Slek Hood. Their parts look great and go with the OEM styling, they quality and fitment is there, they are made in the US and they have very fair prices.

I am still looking forward to seeing the HPA car with the painted hood.

I believe HPA is either waiting for the new hood or they don't plan to put it on since they want to retain the stock 1M kind of look and not replace panels. I was hoping to have the new hood in time for MFest but it won't be possible. Maybe Bimmerfest hopefully.

Just saw the SLek one, I hope they make a VACC option as well. For some reason I hate to paint over CF even knowing there is a weight reduction vs VACC

I have an iCarbon one. I'm wrapping it pretty soon though. Going to leave the carbon fiber exposed around the vents.

One of the better mods out there. The M3 hood power dome w/ vents just makes the 1 look 10x more aggressive.

Nice! Any luck with Seibon fitment? I heard it was spotty and will start "warping"...

The whole CF hood I like, but getting the hood pins really throws me off as they aren't eye catching.

I agree completely, pins are a little too much. Plus if the fitment is good you should need them.

Seibon is ok. I would rate 6~7 out of 10. For street use i am not too worry about hood pin though the reason i try to upgrade cause just like the double sised so sexy
