Keeping a 1M in the family

Hi guys, I'm new around here, but not necessarily new to BMWs. I have an e46 M3 as well as a 2002 that I vintage race. I recently bought a black 1M from my dad that he had bought new. I'm hoping that the 1M will be a dead guy car for me - the next time it's for sale, I'll be dead!

Looking forward to getting to know you all and getting into the 1M community.

Welcome. Is your 1M new to the Seattle/Tacoma area? I'm only aware of one local Black Sapphire 1M, and that one doesn't look as nice as your car. I look forward to meeting you and your car.

Yep, its been in the area (Bellevue/Kirkland) since new, and is now in Tacoma. Looking forward to meeting you too!
