Long crank/start

Don't know if this is the right section so mods move if it isn't please. My car has been taking forever to start. Normally, it takes 3 full seconds of slow cranking until it finally turns over. Sometimes, doesn't start at all and I have to try again. I don't think it is battery because I have left the car for a week and it started slowly like normally. One thing I did notice is sometimes after a really tough time starting, the mileage and date will blank. Is this the starter drawing a lot of amps? Getting car checked out when I have time, using my company car right now.

Also check the other two common potential issues:
1. Corroded/Failing Ground strap
2. Potential Fraying/disconnection of the power cable to connects to the jump starting lug and the starter/DME (I think that's where it goes to, haven't looked in a while)

It was a bad battery guys, the one in it was original since 09/09!
