As you may have read in the E92 threads, no one knows yet.

There are rmours from within BMW NA for the E90 to stay like it is and rumours for it to change.

We will have to wait for BMW NA management to release the real info

I'm gonna be so upset if next years E90 is called a 335i.

Anyone up for a GB for the '5' on the trunk?

At a minimum it does not look like the E90 will change until a Sept SOP/Nov delivery. Damned awkward. Maybe the 323/328 will be available in Sept, the 335 in Nov.

I really do not get the spiteful response of a few E90 325/330 owners. Are we supposed to be pissed if someone invents a hydrogen fuel engine tomorrow that can replace all fossil fuel engines and save the planet a bunch of trouble? A new i-pod that wi-fis from anywhere? A new computer that is 2x as fast? This is moronic. Advance as fast as you can BMW. I have an old-fashioned E46, am I supposed to be pissed that BMW improved upon it? The E90 325/330 are fantastic cars, the best you could buy at the time. But let's not hold progress still.

I don't think it's a spiteful response .. more of a natural human response of envy.

It's great that BMW is rapidly advancing. It's REALLY great for those in the market for a car now.

Personally it would be a little shitty to see the same exact e90 in a few months time sitting next to me with ~300hp. Hardly call that spite though.

I'm happy for any new BMW owner!

I'm completely with you bitstream, thats exactly what bothers me, the EXACT same car, bought 2-3 months later, with 40-50 hp more, that hurts

Yet BMW has done it in the past, and Mercedes does it too. Keep in mind that you guys had the new E90 body style first! There is usually a trade-off for early adopters. By the time I get an E90, it will be common everywhere.

My understanding that there would be a 330i with 270 hp? That basically you would have a 328i with more HP along with a 330i and then the coupe variants.

Spoke with my uncle (BMW Salesman) this afternoon and he has the same info we do.

All I Know is I have a 330i on order, and I have no idea if I should cancel the order and wait for the 2007 E90's.

I'd really kick myself if they came out with more power for about the same price.

So confused

Honestly, I think the 35 would be out of my current price range and besides, I wouldn't know what to do with 300-hp anyways. Right now I don't even get close to using 255.

When is the car being delivered?

If it were me .. I would try and get a date as to when the 07 specs for e90 will be released and then make the decision. I have a feeling they're going to make some minor changes.

US model will come with a small yellow light at corner/end of bumper, much better than the E90

Spoke with CA today. There will be no e90 323i, only e90 328i & e90 335i. Pricing for the 328i will be $400-$800 over current 325i pricing.

SOP for 328i & 335i will be sept

330i production will end in South Africa in July and Germany in August.

He did not have any idea on pricing for 335i.

I'll believe it when I see it in a press release. Everything else is speculation until then I feel.

Although it seems the obvious move to put the new motor in the sedan as well.

Aargh! I haven't even picked up the E90 and it's already potentially outdated. Oh, well I'll have to enjoy it for what it is and that is a superb automobile.

How fast can one drive on public highways anyway? (I have to rationalize this anyway I can!)

---

Oh and if any 325i owners have debadged, I'm on the market for a "5".

I ordered the car on 4/13/06. My salesman told me I should be getting it late May/early June.

Whatever, I'm screwed...I'm just going to accept it, lol.

Your far from screwed man .. it's a great automobile. When I first got into the thing I was SOOO impressed with the power and handling of the car.

It's only this buzz of the twin turbo which is kinda putting a damper on things as of late...

I guess we should all consider ourselves lucky in life if our biggest headache is our engine output

I am in the same boat. Keep in mind they will come out with the 335 and then the face lift and then a new model anyway. Who can keep up with all this. Buy a good car and drive it. Debadge or put the 5 on the tail. lol

I'm beginning to think it makes more sense at the end of the day to get the car absolutely fully loaded the way you want and just lease it for 2 years.
