Asking Price:

Hello 1M community,

We do in fact have a brand new 2011 BMW 1M for sale. It is a Canadian car that has not been registered with the ministry therefore you will be the first owner. It currently has 577km on the odometer that were put on by the original selling dealer principal. There are no disclosures to be made, there are no faults with the car, it is literally brand new. You will not be able to run a CarFax or CarProof as the VIN has not been submitted as shown by the NVIS certificate. Not a rush to sell and understand that my asking price will seem extreme to some if not most. This is part of a 1 man personal collection and is sitting beside a euro swapped M3 LTW racecar and underneath a Cayman R 6 spd with 7k km just to give you an idea of his taste. And just one more time $100,000 USD is the asking price. My name is Alex (I am the sole representative of this collection of cars) and can be reached at 647-746-32II call or text. Car is located 40 minutes west of Toronto. Thank you

Well he did rip just about everything out of the LTW because he wanted to race it. And he did also make his 993 turbo RWD because of the same reason. We have a good mix of like new condition vehicles as well as highly modified ones with little regard for future resale. Personally I am also living vicariously through him but do have a slight perk of being able to sit inside of these cars.

650 km = 403 miles. For the asking price, I'd want to know a lot more about how those miles were spent. Fluid changes? How and how often was it driven? Interior and undercarriage shots?

All fluids changed at BMW in 2015. Oil, diff, brake and tranny. Anyone with access to BMW systems can already confirm that simply by the VIN. Interior and undercarriage shots? Imagine a brand new 2011 1M and there you have it.

Now my question. Are you actually in the market or are you trying to be "helpful" to other buyers in asking these questions?

With all due respect, you're being a bit nonchalant here. You're asking $100k for a car and questioning why someone would want to see pictures? Really?

This is a brand new car. 100% money back guarantee if you do not agree when you see the car in person. I hope that covers all of your concerns.

400 miles is impressive. "New" is just a legal/definition....So depends on how buyer values registration.

First time I've seen the battery hooked up so I was off on the mileage.

With all due respect Alex, it's actually a used car with an owner. It's been RDR'd at some point to somebody and warranty has obviously since expired. Just because a dealer principal chooses to drive it around on a dealer plate vs provincially registering it doesn't retain it as a new car.

The owner might have been better off listing it as "like-new" and actually registering it. If you try and register this car now or export it, the current unresolved airbag recall open on this 1M may cause some issues. Additionally the lack of searchable history like scheduled maintenance and consistent mileage readings that are generated by a CarProof or CarFax are going to be non-existant. This might leave the purchaser with an uneasy feeling rather than being excited about being the preceived first name on the registration. A car sitting for a long period of time can become very costly to maintain in the future. I'm only stating this as this is what you're potentially going to face when you ask $140,000CAD for a vehicle the owner paid BMW Canada about $52k for.

All said though, this is a very cool find for somebody. And if it's not worth $100,000USD now, we all know it will be someday… GLWS

First thing I'd be looking at is dry rot and flat spots on the tires

$100K

Beautiful car, but my god ~ $130CDN seems really steep. So many other options at that price point.

No doubt you will find a hardcore collector that doesn't care about the $$$.

We have regular maintenance records from BMW as per the schedule with recorded mileage. Hope that works for you.

im in the same boat as e30. I'm actually am in the market for a 1m and clicked on this to see why the 6 figure price tag as well. still looking for it. I have a guy that can roll back the digital odometer to whatever someone wants. detailed pictures is a must for any used car over 30k for me and my collection. Seems like you can get offended easily from what I saw and thats not my intention at all. just your wasting peoples time with this add. its like every time I see a realtor with their face and # on a magnet on there car. Nobody is calling them off that and nobody is buying this off that post. good luck though. if anybody is reading this I really am in the market but my cap is $65k and unmodified so if anybody knows a good one pm me. thanks
