100% if the M3 wagon was available when I bought my car I would have chosen the wagon.

Fantastic. There are also a number of E39 M5 wagon conversions, which are awesome. It's too bad these (apparently) can't make financial sense for BMW in today's world, but the X5M and X6M do...

Sick builds. BMW, you guys are slacking. The 2 genius just made 2 badass cars you don't produce in your fleet. They actually look like so clean like they snuck into your factory and made them on your factory line. Bravo to you 2 on some awesome builds. @maltman @63np Can't wait to see what's next.

I don't even have the words to describe how awesome these are.

...and BMW reckons no one wants a wagon anymore and that we can't even get B58 F31 in the USA ....

I see tons of F31s on the road these days

Like I have been recently saying, wagons look better and better everytime for me, that M3... I got no words for it.

Also, I'm very very curious 63NP as to what is the process involved in making one of these, my guess is that you pick the saloon M3 and modify the body? or do you grab a 340i F31 and turn it into an M3 mechanically-wise?

So....Mercedes has the C63 AMG Wagon and Audi has the RS Avant Wagons...both are beasts. But BMW will not produce an M3 or M5 Wagon?????? WTF.

Which looks like Maltman and 63NPs wagons could stand toe to toe with them.

One of our forum members in Germany please get these pics to the idiots at BMW HQ and speed up the process of production!

People love to talk the talk. If it was actually for sale very few would actually walk the walk....so divide that number by 5 and you'll find the actual number of people who'd buy it out of them..

The fact is even between the F80 M3 and F82 M4 the M3 is the far more practical and significantly better looking option but it's outsold by the M4 at a scale of something like 6 to 1.

I don't know man...these two projects are doing the wagon versions a great deal of justice.

Awesome builds guys!

Great work both on the mechanicals and power train, and the aesthetics.
Where are the typical bashers who will claim non ///M, but wearing M5 or M3 badges. I'm sure they are around here somewhere

The rear fender flares.... so much win!

I wish Americans liked wagons enough to make a business case for this.
