Loud exhaust after 2k revs

Hello, i'm a owner of a BMW e87 118d M-sport 2010

Today after coming home from work i stopped at the market to buy some things. I left the car shut off for about 10 minutes and after coming back when i started the car up again and drove off i noticed a great increase of the exhaust sound.

I'm not 100% sure it's the exhaust, it sounds like it's coming from the front of the car like under the dashboard and drivers seat. A deep, loud exhaust sound when revving over 2k revs up to redline. Sounds like a cheap honda-civic shitty exhaust mod.

What can the possible problem be here?
I don't know if it matters but i have a Stage 1 ECU map, but i did this for about 6 months ago. The car is sitting at 175.000kms (rougly 110.000 US miles)

Put it up on a hoist at a shop, it should become evident where the noise is coming from. We've had cases here recently where thieves are cutting off catalytic converters from under vehicles. But since yours was only parked for 10 minutes, I doubt if that happened to yours. It could be an exhaust manifold gasket.
