08 M3 gunmetal rims
I have a question before I go too far with this.....
I really like the look of the 08' M3 rims and have been contemplating purchasing a set for my 135i. I decided on Gunmetal because I hate having to clean my wheels every friggin day because of brake dust..... I have been looking for the measurments for the M3 rims to see if that is possible, but I haven't found anything. Thoughts? And on a different topic, I noticed in some of the pics on the website that there is a slight discoloring under the doors. My car is Sapphire Metalic Black and it has it on both sides and while looking at some of the pics on other cars, they all seem to have it too, regardless of color. Is it me and my car, or is anyone else having this problem? Thanks in advance, Tony

the discoloring you are talking about, does it happen to be where the water runs off the car.
there's a lot of threads on e90post.com that states that there is some kind of oil-based protectant sprayed on certain parts of the car before delivery, and it looks like it discolors but can be wiped off....... Oh, and unless the m3 wheels you want are replicas, there is no way that those are going to fit on your car for sure!! |

Darn, well, I still like how they look.
Thanks for the info guys, I guess I will have to look at some different rims.
