Finally "At Preperation Center"

I think the Don Quijote people have all known are cars have been in port for a few days but Owners Circle finally ticked over to at preparation center today. Now, if we could only get the official answer on whether the rumored EPA delay is real or not.

EDIT: Yes, I know how to spell preparation, just not the day I posted this...

My 09 is scheduled for delivery next Saturday. I have not heard of any delays.

Not sure which boat I am on, but my dealer told me that it was scheduled to dock in South Carolina on Oct 8th, and I should expect to pick it up from Athens GA around Oct 18th.

He did not mention any EPA delays.

Hello everyone, I am not sure what port my 1er will be dropped off at but I do know that today the Don Q arrived at the last port of call in GA. I bought my car from a dealership in GA so my gut tells me that I'll get the car in about 10 days or so?

I believe the other link said it as well, there is a wait to get the EPA mileage estimates made so window stickers can be printed. October 13th is the day from what I've seen.

Hello All, I am at the VPC in GA, just talked to the dealer, sounds like they are holding my car until the 15th should see it by the 17th or 18th. They are going to keep me up to date hopefully it will be sooner!!

My dealer just confirmed I am ok for delivery on 10-11. This EPA sticker problem is really confusing. I am going to call BMW just to confirm as it's a 3 1/2 hour drive to the dealer.

Yeah I am not happy at all I am wondering if towards the end of this week, they will send the car along. You would think with Priority 1 cars they would get them to the dealers ASAP!

My dealer called today and said that I'm at the prep center in SC and am scheduled to leave SC on the 9th for delivery on the 10th.

For anyone 'measuring' dates, my 128i went into production 9/8 and left port on 9/19.

I'm at the prep center as well, according to bmwusa. Unfortunately, I have to wait until my scheduled pickup at the Performance Center on 24Oct. Seems like it's taken forever, but the time is definately close. Anyone else gonna be there the same day?

So by the looks of things the 128s seem to be moving towards delivery, any updates on anyone's 2009 135s?

I'm off today, but I will answer this one since it's affecting alot of people. There are some EPA certification issues (they need to be certified), it seems related only to the TT engines. Told by CA that my 135i coupe on the Don Q. landed in GA or SC on about 10-3 but due to some delay (EPA most likely) may ship out on 10-20 and arrive to dealership on 10-21.

Way too long and I may just say fuggetaboutit!

I was told to call back on Friday. I was told the car would be released on the 15th but I am now reading the 20th? This wait is getting VERY OLD.
