This colour really has me hooked at the moment. I'd even consider getting a custom job done on the 1er just to have it if the colours are really limited.

Sparkling Graphite Metallic

This car can wear funk

This car has creases and curves everywhere, it's a light catcher that would make some pretty funky colors pop. This car can really wear anything, but it begs for hot rod paintwork:

- Metallic oranges and coppers
- heavy flake or candy yellows and golds - bold bright yellows and golds, like HoK Pagan
- techno-violet would work nicely, so would deep plums or flakey garnets
- almost any metallic blue, gray or black
- light grasshopper greens with matte black or military green accents?
- just not white, white belongs on cars whose bodywork you are trying to hide - rental fleet Cavaliers and Tauruses and stuff. This car is forward and assertive and will harmonize with lush, creative paintwork.

Of course you know that's purely subjective, but my color choices are matte colors to downplay the aggressive body. I think Porsche's GT3 RS green or Gulf blue would look incredible.

That's a relief, for a minute I was worried that I had to give an objective opinion on car colors, which of course would have me worried that I was on the Frigidaire forum.

What color wheels would you have with those choices?

I guess it was your "matter-of-fact" phrasing that made it sound like you were a paint expert from DuPont or something. Point being that we'd all like our favorite color to be an option so we could get that individual car, but a car manufacturer simply can't make that work and still be profitable. We all have different tastes and no one's is wrong or right.

Now that we know BMW is going with white, black, and metallic orange (Booooo!) the thread is pointless, but I would have gone for white, silver, matte black, gunmetal wheel colors.
